Midnight Ramblings

Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs when you least expect it. You’re cruising along, doing your thing, and then suddenly, everything seems to come crashing down. It feels like the ground beneath your feet is slipping, and all those plans you had made, the dreams you held onto so tightly, suddenly seem out of reach.

I’ve been there — in those dark moments where it feels like you’ve hit rock bottom. I remember one particularly tough time, when I thought I had everything figured out. I had just started a project I was passionate about, something I’d poured my heart and soul into. Things were going well, until suddenly, they weren’t. A deal fell through, the funding I was counting on disappeared, and the people I thought I could rely on backed out. I was left staring at the pieces, wondering, Is this it?

It felt like the end. For days, maybe even weeks, I walked around with a sense of hopelessness. That heavy feeling in your chest, like there’s a storm cloud that refuses to pass. Every thought turned into self-doubt. Maybe I wasn’t good enough. Maybe I wasn’t cut out for this. Maybe this was the universe’s way of telling me I should quit.

But here’s the thing — even when it feels like everything is falling apart, it’s not the end. It rarely is. What I learned through that experience, and every setback since, is that setbacks are temporary. They feel huge…
